Ascension has been a catch word in the world of metaphysics since the late 80’s, early 90’s, moving into more mainstream vernacular in the last seven years. The basic premise is having the ability to move our consciousness literally into the higher dimensional realms, primarily the fifth dimension on. This would take us out of 3-D and separation of Oneness. There is also the belief we have the ability to take our bodies with us as well. I find that a very fascinating concept. I personally believe in it.
Back in the early 90s I remember reading James Redfield’s book, The Celestine Prophecy series. In it, one of the characters raises his consciousness to such lightness, his body literally disappears. This has been a recent phenomena in India and Tibet. Yogis, Masters of meditation, are literally disappearing before people eyes, their bodies dissolving before them.
I am the queen of positivity, however I know that my thoughts still slip and slide into areas that are considered less positive, critical and judgmental. I work very hard at maintaining flow, however it’s still a challenge. I also find humor that makes fun of the crazy chaos in our world, takes a cynical spin, makes me laugh. Does that make the thoughts less positive? These are the things I do not know. Mark Twain’s quotes, “I’d rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints,” or “Go to heaven for the climate, hell for the company,” are perfect examples of how I think and perceive things.
