Imagine, everyone, and I mean everyone from skanky politicians, to corrupt bankers, to rowdy rodeo riders to nuclear scientists, to Nazi sympathizers, to racially radical extremists, to Christian Rights, to socialist lefts, to your grumpy neighbor, to the self centered in-laws, to incompetent sales clerks, to the self righteous preachers, to terrorists, and everyone else in between, are all…yes “all together and forever,” at a huge Galla event under a domed starlit sparkled ceiling. Everyone is enjoying the entertainment, the food, the grandeur, sharing stories and lies, jabs and hugs. It’s richly intoxicating, the atmosphere, heady with energy and illusion. 

  
All of a sudden the darkness flickers, candles smoke, the flames blown out. The dark dome above comes starkly alive, lit with bright glaring light. The music stops, conversations halt as reality sinks in. The wizard behind the curtain is revealed.

Costumes alter and change in the bright reality; attendees look and stare at the changing scenery. Everyone is now dressed similarly, adorned without unneeded and unnecessary ego-centered accouterments. Tables are filled with multiple layers of colorful masks, masks of eon-stretching character roles played out with standing ovations.

The masks disappear, falsehoods extinguished. Truth of a complex multilayered light-filled reality materializes. Full Recognition. Memory-flooded remembering ~ lights dimming, bedazzled costumes ready, as curtains open and once again a new story begins -or continues- with you, me, us as main leading characters. The stage. All life is a stage.

In remembrance, attendees are laughing now, astonished at how well they played the roles, believed them true, made them theirs, Oscars waiting.

The space is colorfully ablaze in bright crystal illuminated vividness. Reality “Light-ed” up with goodness, joy, laughter and Love so intense and magnetic, everyone feels their connection to one another and everything. The masks they had believed in so intently now faded and gone, their emotional purpose a seamless integration into their being. The next role to be played out even more ardently with new skills ingested. Time to step up, step up to the light: Discover the next role, the next best you in the sequence of light, time and shadow.
