“Hiatus: Taking “Time Out” to Create More “Real” Time”


I’ve been off-grid these past several months, and now literally hanging at my off-grid  solar generated cabin. I detoxed from social media and the internet in general. It’s been refreshingly fabulous. I would recommend it to everyone! We all need to step out of this generated cyberspace universe and re-emerge in the physical real world, breathe and reconnect. Sit under trees, lie on rocks, get sunshine on our bodies especially in the early morning. Early morning sunlight literally resets the healthy body button. Even in the cities, get on rooftops and connect with the Sky. Bring along a crystal to create the earth-grid to ground the energies.


The best gift from taking “time-out” is “real” time spreads out and expands. I’ll explain further.  I just had a three day workshop here at my cabin called “High Octane Zen.” The common voiced frustration throughout the weekend was lack of “time,” to do the things desired.  Not enough “time,” not  jobs or relationships but the demands that zap our personal space and “time,” was numero uno in frustration and angst. Restless anxiety and stress were the results. How do we generate a different time table was a hot topic.

I’ve talked about where the earth is in the solar elliptical and the precession of the equinoxes in the cosmic backdrop as influencing our time grids. It’s true. Time has sped up however even in this construct we can through intention and perception push time out to allow more conscious expansion, more fun, more joy. The end result is happier healthier us!

Okay tricks and tools.

1. Like I said: nature is a great start. Takes us out of the chaos. Remember to breathe.

2. Detox from social media. Rearrange your calendars to reflect more personal space.

3. Here’s the visual.  With your hands together, in front of you, elbows bent, push your hands apart as if clearing clutter from a table. With clear intention, think of this clearing and spreading-out as “making space,” moving “time out,” to literally step into with your mind, as a new location on the dimensional grids. You are literally creating a new place in time. Stepping into this – literally in your mind- allows you to broaden the day, expand your senses as you now work from “this” space. Essentially you’re stopping the clock by being off-grid and out of the perceived time zone. Be organized and ready to get your lists accomplished. When you’re done, step out of your visualized time grid, see it real. Create a decorated door into your off-grid zone with a handle to utilize again. If your perceptions and intentions are in alignment, you’ll discover you’ve gotten more done in less time thus freeing you to do more in your play time.

4. Make the effort. Be the mindful commander of your own ship charting your own best path and not letting time control you.


To more fun free time to be our best creative whole selves!
