The first five minutes are important in anything you do. Five minutes. In today’s world where everything is now broken down into increments of ‘time,’ those first five minutes are vital.
First impressions, capturing someone’s attention on the phone, internet, video, at dinner, you name it, can set the stage for the rest of the encounter. It’s amazing the difference which can be made if clear positive intention is directed into those five minutes. If every event, meeting, dialogue, even sex – were set with loving intention, engaging the ‘higher-self’ of the recipient, the outcome would literally change instantly.
The ‘higher self’ is the part of our soul that resides in the astral levels, the universal-unity-conscious-energy, where ‘all roads lead to Mecca.’ When we engage someone in conversation visualizing speaking with the best of who they are, the energy shifts between the individuals. This can be done long distant with someone as well.
First impressions ring true. If you are uplifting, bright and openly and actively present, the recipients will receive this energy and the outcome evolves into a new probability. If you project yourself as ‘down’, despondent surly and grumpy, which happens on a regular basis, it instantly sets an energetic blueprint. My invitation is fake it till you make it if you are feeling emotionally off-center. In other words, present yourself in the best ‘light’ possible and watch how life expands in a new fashion.
The last five minutes are just as important.
Cosmic sunshine to you.
So true, Candia. Sometimes I have to remember this, on days when I just don’t want to be somewhere, when I just don’t want to socialize.
