I rescued a new kitten last week. It has been delightful to have cat energy once again in my home. I lost my cat last spring to the road. I had never before experienced losing an animal in that fashion. It was devastating. It did bring to focus the inequities we experience in regards to the differences in lifespans. Why do our pets live shortened lives in comparison to ours? I have been asked multiple times as to “why” we were created in this fashion.

I believe we need to explore our evolutionary cycles. When we as a species were created our focus was on survival. It was only through eons of growth that we brought animals into our circles. As our relationships deepened, our love expanded, we added the miraculous relationships of animals into our families. In essence, from the beginning we were created differently. Drawing from the astral levels, willing ‘soul-frequency-expressions,’ or ‘Divine-Soul-Blueprints’ of multiple species,’energy-soul-sparks’ then chose various physical forms to inhabit in multiple time frames. In other words, there is an energy signature to the various species on the planet who choose to enter into physical form.

Delving deeper, each of the lifeforms choose to express their experiences in unique and various signatures and ways. Animals choose to move in and out of body much more rapidly than humans. It is their choice. I do believe animals have expansive souls and are equal to humanity, even though it may look otherwise to our limited perspective. Animals are much more connected to the ebb and flow of nature, moving through the cycles of germination, birth, growth, expansive expression, through to the death cycle and the return to the soil. Even though they love deeply, they are not as attached to their physical bodies as we are.

Animals are here to teach us that everything, all life is constant and flowing. I believe they are here to teach us of the continuous-y of life in the grand scheme of the cosmos. They keep us connected to the earth, her cycles and our connection to Divine Consciousness. They are reminders of the reincarnation cycles that are visible in every natural cycle on the planet. We through our limited vision and perspective, have forgotten our Divine connection. Animals have not.

In loving an animal, you love the earth, humanity and yourself. When you lose your special companion and friend, it is a reminder of the cyclical quality of our existence on this planet. Nothing ever dies, it just changes form. As in all existence, that Energy frequency has the ability to return to physical form when the timing is in alignment with universal forces. In other words, your pets, your beloved friends, can come share their lives with you once again in a new form. Remember to look in their eyes, dive into their depths and reconnect with the memories. Your soul will be uplifted as well as their’s, in your remembrance.
