“The problem is,” without really noticing, I allowed this phrase into my vernacular. I recognize, knowing what our challenges are is the first step to change, however typically when I hear this thrown out there, blame is usually accompanied with it as a companion ticket.I have even heard the weatherman use the phrase “The problem is.” Of course, he used this in reference to icy roads with the caveat that if you are not prepared with snow tires, traction devices and temperature gages, you could encounter major difficulties. Back to the “what if’s,” and fear propaganda. Not that it isn’t wise to be intelligent about driving through bad weather conditions, I’m not saying that, wise choices are always a good course of action. This is more about the perpetual underlying negativity pushed into our subconscious. We just have to be aware of it and take personal responsibility.
Funny how sayings snake their way into our verbiage. Now that you are aware of this phrase, I would bet you will hear it differently. It will stand out loud and clear. I even heard a car commercial last night use the term. You’re going to hear our illustrious president use it quite often, especially in deference to the Republicans. He will always blame the Republicans or the Tea Party or Iran or whomever is at the end of his “The problem is” agenda. It’s trickling down from the top, the need to point fingers. Personally, I believe when someone chooses to be a leader it is important to stand up and do their job from a place of committed responsibility, but that’s why I’m not in politics. I believe my word, my integrity, have meaning. My belief is the more we are aware of our words and what we say, the better our experiences are. Words have so much power. The emotional intention behind them amplifies the energy. When we are diligently aware of what we personally say, we then create the solutions to the problems that are on our plate.
The invitation of the day, “if you choose to begin a sentence with “the problem is,” please add the addendum of “The solution is.” Your intuitive self, your higher wisdom, will prevail, and positive circumstances will arise. Your brain\mind will create the solution even as the problem begins. The key is you. So the “solution to our dilemma is…”
Cosmic sunshine to you.
