Life is a game. We each choose our game pieces, roll the dice and see how far our numbers take us. We earn a little, earn a lot, pay our taxes, our fines, buy some commodities, or lose it all. We pick our “opportunities,” take our “chances,” roll our doubles, pass Go and collect our $200 big ones. We hit the home run and make it a monopoly. In truth, our lives can be simplified down to a big cosmic game. But how much fun?! We get to pick our game piece (body) choose how far we can take it (years) decide to buy low, sell high or just go around the board (through the years) collecting opportunities. We take chances and decide our karmic paths. We make it as complicated or as simplified as we want. We can choose fun or boredom, enthusiasm or apathy. It’s all a matter of perspective.
