I’m thinking “Buzz Light-Year” got it right. “To Infinity and Beyond!” What a mantra! Buzz set no limits, felt he could do anything, no matter the circumstances. Talk about superpowers of the mind!

We can use the infinity sign as incredible symbol, a doorway into brainpower, an ancient path to understanding vast dimensions and cosmic design. Pretty big stuff. If we look at both sides, circles, the spheres indicative of “duality,” the yin the yang, the night the day, male/female, right/left, emotional/rational, etc etc, we can see both spheres intersect at a juncture, a point of connection, a joining of the energies, otherwise, the spheres would be two circles free floating, unconnected. This is the nature of humanity. We are connected to everything through these midpoints, these intersections on the roadway of experience. It’s an androgynous point with no psychic pull to a specific blueprint, belief system or energy. It just is. They just are. It is at the mid-point, this still or zero point we have our best opportunity to be magical, creative, quiet, one with ourselves and Divine Consciousness.

Imagine being here, this quiet junction. See ourselves in this zen place of equanimity, of peace, away from the fast extremes of thought, ideas, the power-push-shove and heavy controlling emotions. We are still connected yet away from the negativity. It’s the cosmic balance point. It then supercharges our reality with confidence and esteem, vast understanding and empathy. That’s superhero energy, mega brain food.

Another example is being on a teeter-totter. As a kid, I was the little one, the light one everyone wanted to pop into the air with a hard thump on the way back down. How many of us have experienced being thrown out of balance coming down hard, being walloped with emotional let-downs? These events usually happen when we are not in our still point, our place of balance. This is a great example of extremes, being on the far end away from center, out in right or left field, pushing an ideology, shoving an agenda, waiting for the fall. In truth nothing really sticks, or gets accomplished in the extremes; it’s in the middle, balance is achieved and good decisions are made. Imagine now standing at the midpoint of the teeter-totter, having the ability to negotiate both sides, keeping both ends in the air, balanced, strong and calm. I loved this position as a child, dancing between both sides, never allowing either end to hit the ground, seeing how far I could go. This is zero point or the mid heavens. A zen intersection.

Now see a clock in your mind. The hands are pointing to 12:00am, one view, perspective, extreme. One sphere of the infinity sign. The hands swirl. They now are at 12:00 pm, another view, perspective, extreme. The other sphere. Not one better than the other, just counter-poised from the another. Next, go halfway between, the mid-point: 6:00am; swirl the hands again, 6:00pm. If we were to examine it from literal time as if from the equator, 6:00am represents the dawn, the merging point of dark to light, night to day. At 6:00pm it’s the opposite, the converging point of day to dusk, evening to night. Everyday we are literally reminded everything is connected through midpoints of intersecting light. This is represented by the intersection point of the infinity sign showing succinctly everything is connected even when opposite. Nothing is exempt.

It also shows its all just neutral-12:00am (female, inward) to 12:00pm (male, outward). Not one over the other, just different. Moving to center, to balance, (like testosterone and estrogen in our bodies) we can utilize the free flowing energies from both sides capitalizing on the masculine and feminine, opposites in nature, yet reflecting the same. If we were to understand that in our relationships, our communications, to our social systems, it offers a path to powerful neutrality and compromise with the bonus of awakening to the greater expanse of consciousness.

Buzz through his mantra, offered a great brain-power-point and zen location. A place to rest, recharge, replenish our batteries. An infinity point of spiritual recognition. Our doorway into our best beingness. Come join me, sit awhile, merge consciousness. It’s balanced here.
