This weekend I listened to my very impassioned cousin espouse the evils of the world. She is so ready to take on all the villains that are holding women “back,” who are “ripping children from their families” she can hardly contain herself. It is her calling, her mission, essentially her soul’s mission, to do this. Nothing will get in her path to make good on bad things. I replied how fortunate we are to have her on the planet to help in such big ways. I mean it. Yet ironically, I believe there’s a bigger dynamic. I’ll explain.

Her Jungian archetype she brought into this life’s play is the Advocate. An advocate is one who advocates, who stands up for, defends, speaks for others. She cannot not do this! It’s what she came to do. Her karma or rather Dharma -her life’s calling and story-line- have led her to this moment where she can step up to these intense internal heart-soul beliefs and make a significant difference, or as in many cases where we tend to allow life to dictate our experiences rather than embrace them, she can retire and walk away. Choices, always choices. They are the choices of empowered living or living a fated story. Our decision. Obviously she’s choosing empowered.

So. Here’s the Cosmic Paradox. If you were to ask 99.9% of the world’s population “Is the world perfect the way it is? Is the world in dire need of help, change and focus?” The answers would unequivocally be “No, the world is absolutely not perfect. And my god yes. The world needs help.” Even in the spiritual cosmic worlds the leaders are saying the sky is falling. Yikes! So contrary to Spiritual law! From a wider view, a cosmic perspective, the world IS perfect just the way it is.

How is this possible?

Imagine going back to the time before you entered into physicality. Yes, the time before birth. You are deciding all the things you need to experience to expand your vision, your perspectives to enhance the depth of your soul. You choose to be an advocate for the down trodden, an artist to brighten the world for others, an engineer to boldly construct designs, a statesman to motivate the world politically, a rebel to keep awareness strong and question old mores, a teacher to uplift and educate, a caregiver to aid those in physical, mental and emotional duress, an environmentalist to work with the planet…….etc etc etc. We choose to come to schoolyard earth to broaden who we are, be more, learn experience enhance be play love laugh cry -everything we can get our hands on. It’s our soul’s mission.

If everything were golden, peaceful, blissful, beautiful, would those missives be learned, played out, forged like iron into the soul’s Repository? Ponder that for a moment. Seriously. Would my cousin be able to play out the Advocate if everything were solved? When she leaves the planet would her life’s work be complete? Now take a deep breath and fly over the planet in your mind. See all the live action, the life of the inhabitants the energetic mix of biology and divinity. See all the options, the possibilities we have to test, hats to try on, the adventures that await. The stories to live and be. Connect into All That Is. It is a fecund swirling energetic rich mix of creativity and consciousness. It’s truly amazing. And perfect the way it is. Because why? We have the ability to be more, do more because of where the entire cosmic creation IS at this moment. We can do live experience breathe our soul’s life’s calling – our goals.

And yet….it is the evolution of things, the acts of making a difference that will continue to aid and abet the overall raising of consciousness of everyone and everything.

And bigger picture yet…repeat repeat repeat, reload…this is a continuing revolving record on my end- the more we focus on the good of this planet rather than all the shit and muck and yuck, the faster we will transform our state of awareness and consciousness. It truly is a Passion Play.
