“It’s Time for a Karmic Upgrade”

Karma is an fabulous concept; what you give, you’ll receive back tenfold. If you emit love, kindness, grace, it will literally fill your heart and cellular biology, creating radiance and joy, health and goodness as those around you and the universe conspire to share and give back this delightful and yes, heavenly, sensation with you. It doesn’t get any better than that.

Life can be challenging, no two ways around it, from health issues, family dramas, failed careers, to falling in love with the wrong person. But in truth, there are no wrong choices, just bad attitudes. Once you recognize you can change your attitude, thus your direction, good karma ensues pointing you on the happy path of ever evolving truth. It takes practice though. Keen awareness. You have to step out of the drama long enough to observe, identify and change your positioning in your own private orbit to make the necessary transformation. It can be done. Never forget that simple but universal principle: change is the only constant, it’s how you “see” the change that’s vital. Then you take the needed action. It’s all third chakra energy: will power,self esteem and confidence. If you struggle with this power center, as 99% of the population do, consider eating yellow and gold foods, wearing more gold and yellow and spinning yellow energy into your solar plexus for energy.

Consider this a personal challenge: Upgrade your karma to the next evolutionary level of development. Focus on your attitude, your direction and what exactly you want. Seriously: What do you want? What are you putting out – giving- and what are you willing to receive? Are you willing to receive goodness, love and kindness? Or is it more on the shadowy side of the emotional Richter scale because you feel unworthy? This is where stepping out of orbit helps identify the cause and culprit allowing you to change the map, your life path.

If we all focus on this simple principle of giving and receiving, especially goodness, we not only change our personal lives and those around us, we have the ability to upgrade humanity’s group karma as well. Now isn’t that a visual worth attracting!?

“Death Needs a Make-Over”

Interesting stats: did you know, more people leave the planet in December than any other month? Crazy, isn’t it? Literally. It starts in November leading into the grand finale during the holidays. I personally know many people who have lost a loved one recently. This I believe, is truly life’s biggest mystery and greatest hurdle: death, dying, grief. I know from personal experience.

Here’s the irony. From the Big Picture, there really is a more grand, vast overriding truth; there is no death, only transition. We here on the earth plane forget that in the midst of our tears when we can no longer hear or hold, laugh and cry with our loved ones. Yet I truly believe, when we are quiet ~ still ~ attuned to the universe, we can always hear, we can communicate and connect with the greater part of them, their timeless soul essence.

We are always connected. Our brief earthly sojourns are but a microscopic blip on the major evolutionary time grid. This is where the illusion appears. We feel this is “it,” this is reality, when the converse is true. I believe we need to rename, readdress the death mystery, choosing to call the “leaving of one’s earthly costume,” the “Discard-ment” the “Transcendence,” displacing the negativity, fear and control wrapped around the word itself, to “death” as a change in location, an ending and a light-bending beginning. This really is our biggest spiritual frontier: to explore deeply into the ethereal abyss far beyond the structured and boxed religious dogma. This is new territory.

We as a family, community, nation and globe would have to adopt a completely new construct. A new belief system. A belief that all is well, everything is perfect, no matter what. It is what it is. When the soul chooses to leave the “physical dressing” to merge with universal Spirit, the “Life Force of Forever and Shall Be,” we know “we-are and ever-on,” connected through the cosmic grid. Therefore grief is an emotion we need to re-examine, much like greed, avarice, jealousy. They are a waste of energy, time. And grief essentially holds the transcendent soul anchored into the earth’s illusion. Our tears literally dampen, and extinguish their spark, their Light. We want them to shine, light up the cosmic arena with their sparkle and brilliance, perceiving all the while the expansiveness of this particular cycle, that we, like them, will return again into the cosmic mists to play, scamper and travel the vastness of the galaxies and dimensional universes. To know we will join them again and again in the eternal cosmic playground either here or there ~ and it will be.

I believe it’s time to step out of illusion and into the clear bright reality of timelessness and into our greater consciousness.

“May the Truth Reign: A Perspective on the Missouri Riots”

Communication is our number one best tool. It offers us the ability to dance, maneuver, sing, negotiate, romance, educate and change the world. ~ “In the beginning, was the “word.” ~ Today however, we have become all too PC or milk toast in our conversations. Stating “what is,” is the best and most effective approach to powerful dialogue coupled with positive action. When we blanket reality with a noxious ineffectual cover of ambiguity, (such as President Obama’s speech last night) then no one wins. Nothing changes, no one benefits.

Negativity breeds detrimental, pessimistic, antagonistic behavior. It festers and propagates. This acidic attitude perpetuates our thinking, our words and actions, spinning outward enveloping others. (Missouri rioters) Conversations and behaviors evolve at that level until someone finally becomes sane, stopping the momentum. This mentality is taking us down the rabbit hole, literally, keeping us in darkness, in bipolar rationality. Ironically, it’s not rational at all.

However, if we state facts and figures of events and results, circumstances and coincidences, we have the ability to see the truth and discover the best approach. Take for example the rioting and looting in Missouri. Facts are being ignored, ignorance and bigotry given full reign to exploit and plunder under the false flag of racial bias. This is sheer insanity.

The best approach is still the truth. Facts are facts. Boundaries are created for safety as well as upliftment. Without boundaries, and in this case ~ laws ~ nothing would ever be created; it’d still be nebulous instead of concrete, full blown debauchery and rampage versus clear-minded, rational focus. Boundaries give us golden opportunities for manifesting what we desire, as we work within the confines of the physical universe. This karmically is never at the literal (monetary, emotional, mental or physical) expense of others.

This is an example of the undereducated, spiritually un-enlightened few leading the charge, impacting the whole. This is a negative vitriolic path! Our illustrious leaders need to step up, state “what is” and stop the lunacy. There also needs to be undercover agents seeking out the instigators, the rioters stirring the pot. Who are they? Where do they live? Who is paying them? Questions worth asking.

Here’s to a more powerful, complete dialogue of facts, and figures.

“Aloha” from the Big Island”

Aloha is being a part of all, and all being a part of me. When there is pain – it is my pain. When there is joy – it is also mine. I respect all that is as part of the Creator and part of me. I will not willfully harm anyone or anything. When food is needed I will take only my need and explain why it is being taken. The earth, the sky, the sea are mine to care for, to cherish and to protect. This is Hawaiian – this is Aloha!

This brings us to another translation of Aloha. “To consciously manifest life joyously in the present.” This is our prime directive.

“I Couldn’t Make This Up if I Wanted”

I was preparing for my radio show on Odyssey, FreedomSlips.com network. My scheduled guest was unable to make it so I had to scramble and create a new program for the show. I decided to focus on something I know well, a topic close to my heart: Soul Rays. I chose Forbes top pics for 2014 most influential players globally, then read individually their Soul Ray colors/frequencies. Like I said, I couldn’t make this up if I wanted to.

The Soul Ray frequency is a vibration, a choice, a path, a soul makes before arriving in the physical realm. Much akin to an astrology sign, it is a window into our life choices, directions, health, relationships, gifts and challenges. It is a guild or club for life. We choose a Soul Ray frequency to vibrate within, to hone in our skills, much like a sculptor smooths out the edges and carves the beauty in stone. We are here to do the same, to sculpt and polish ourselves into the best we can be in this life. Understanding the twelve Soul Rays is a wonderfully beneficial tool to aid into deeper perception and understanding of life’s multiple, vital, relationships.

About half the world’s population chooses one Ray so they can truly mold, honor and make it their own. The other percent chooses a halo, an additional value for those souls desiring a more complex and diversified life experience. Adding a halo adds a bonus of options, choices and directions. It can also be more complicated. For those who choose to have a halo, it is a 10 to 20% influence over each segment of one’s life.

There are 12 Rays:
Red: the Manifestors. “I do.”
Orange: the Sensual Intellects. “I feel.”
Yellow: Warriors. “I do.”
Green: Earth/Heart Centered. “I love”
Blue: Communicators. “I speak.”
Indigo: Visionaries. “I see.”
Violet: Seers. “I understand.”
Pink: Impressionists. “I share.”
Silver: Techno Wizards. “I create.”
Gold: Wisdom Keepers. “I teach.”
Crystal: Illuminations. “I perceive.”
Rainbow: Universal Unity. “I embrace.”

Greys: this is Not a Ray: Power Mongers.

Here are the players. I will add their Ray next to their names for insight. I have to admit, there were a few surprises for me.

1. Vladimir Putin: Blue Ray, Indigo Halo: Visionary Communicator. For those who think he’s evil personified, please rethink your judgment. It’s based on western media and not necessarily the truth.

2. President Obama: Yellow Ray. Warrior. Greatest gift is to empower, greatest challenge is to empower with the likely outcome to disempower.

3. Xi Jinping: China’s paramount political and military leader, General Secretary of China’s Communist Party: Grey Ray, Power Monger.

4. Pope Francis: Indigo: Visionary

5. Angela Merkel: Germany’s 1st Woman Chancellor: Yellow: Warrior.

6. Janet Yellan: Head of Federal Reserve: Blue with Yellow Halo: Communicating Warrior.

7. Bill Gates: Blue Ray, Indigo Halo: Visionary Communicator.

8. Mario Draghi: Italian, Chief Banker of 17 country Euro Collective: Indigo: Visionary.

9. David Cameron: UK Prime Minister: Grey: Power Monger. He’s the leader who said, “Edward Snowden, (Blue Ray: Communicator) the major international whistleblower’s statement makes it a lot more difficult to keep our countries and citizens safe. ” I personally feel strongly having some of our government’s secrets revealed is valuable. We need political transparency. Cameron is now on my “iffy” list.

10. Larry Page CEO Google, Indigo: Visionary. Sergey Brin Co-CEO: Indigo Ray, Green Halo: Heart Centered Visionary. Co Founders of Google.

This was extremely insightful, intuitively checking out our world leaders in various factions in the political, financial and religious segments. These are the global chess players. The more we see them for who and what they truly are, the better able we are to support or not, their agendas and visions.

As always, I couldn’t make this up if I wanted.

“You’re the Center of the Universe”

It sounds self-centered, egotistical and arrogant to say or believe you are the center of the universe, however from a certain perspective, it is true. You are the center of your universe, your world and everything that involves and revolves around it. You are the driver, the conductor, the engineer. Your ability to maneuver, steer and deftly handle the path ahead sits solely on your shoulders. It’s great to have fabulous teachers, gurus, mentors and valuable books and resources to draw expertise, however when it comes time for the major curves, obstacles, and steep crossings, well, essentially it’s up to your inner resources to drive competently. Period.

That sounds lonely ~ as if you’re totally alone, which is far from the truth, a paradox of the highest order. You’re never alone, you are always connected to Source unless you yourself have disconnected the link, or essentially the belief in your part of the whole. However, even with this universal truth of eternal coherency, you are still your own planet, solar system and universe with the complete resources to build upon your experiences, expand your creative consciousness and virtually move beyond eons of accumulated fear. It’s up to you to make life happen. No one can do it for you.

A year ago, my dad went to the hospital to have a toe removed. Several weeks later, major complications ensued and he came home with hospice, his lungs full. He was literally given days. Several nights in, he asked for his last pill. Well there was no last pill, no special bullet to take him to the promised land. My mom joined my son and I, sitting around him and she told him directly, sternly to: “Buck up. Your grandson (my other son) is joining us tomorrow. He needs to see his grampa. No more complaining. Now I’m going back to bed and I’ll see you in the morning.” In the morning he was better. A week later his lungs were clear. He was the “hospice miracle poster child” of what can happen if you put your mind on it. He went into his personal orbit, turned the physical switches and the mental dials and willed himself through powerful positive thinking to live. He’s still with us a year later. A true blessing and gift, a shining example of phenomenal results of sheer determination married to iron-fisted focus. My parents celebrate sixty years of marriage November 6th.

This is the perfect image of being your own captain. You can steer through the turbulence, even defying deaths’ beckoning gaze through the power of the mind, the point of convergence where focus and razor sharp intention meld. There is nothing we cannot accomplish. When we captain our ship, race through life’s track, we are definitely in our own private universe.

Remember how you want the planets to align, where you desire your orbit, the stars to sparkle.

“Ghosts”

I have always believed in ghosts though I must confide my perception has widened greatly over the decades on the larger truth. I actually feel the definition is much broader than the typical characterization we have been served up since we were children. I believe there are multiple aspects to the concept of illusory, shadowy beings.

The first example is phantasmal souls who are stuck between worlds of three dimensional earth reality and the higher astral levels.The souls whom have left their bodies but for whatever reason feel compelled to stay within the earthly realm and not move forward due to feeling unworthy of the Light. That’s one aspect. I also believe all time is simultaneous, all space is one. Because of the multi-layering of universal energies, we can be in the same space and time as a soul who is experiencing 2241, 1855, 3015 BC, 15,750 BC, etc.. Due to unexplained wavelength changes in the “time principle” generated on earth, occasionally the veil between the timelines becomes very thin. When that happens, energies are transferred from one timeframe to the next, and those who are sensitive can feel the waves weaken, stretch or straighten. In this experience, someone in the same space but different time can be felt, as in the sense of an apparition. An example being would be a rocking chair moving when no one is there. Is it a ghost, a vision, an incorporeal being, a soul left between the worlds or is it someone in the time space continuum actually rocking from another time frame? I believe both can be true.

The third type of ghost is in the lingering memories we have within our minds of people ~ souls from other experiences in the cosmos. Memories which linger in the outer edges of our consciousness, images almost intact but not quite visible. Pieces and places we want to remember but can’t quite put our fingers on. Those are our personal ghosts that haunt us, images we would like to remember or choose to forget. These can be in the form of childhood remembrances to déjà vu, those moments when you just “know” you’ve done this, been here or met a certain person before. You are now in the expansive universal flow opening portals in your awareness. These mementos are opportunities to truly Re-Member, Re-Connect pieces of yourself to create the whole picture, the larger puzzle of your existence.

And that is damn exciting!

This is the perfect time of year to seek the portals, slip through diaphanous veils, and discover more of who you are.

“Looking for a Purple State”

We live obviously in the information age however we are also given so much disinformation it’s overwhelming. How big is Ebola? ISIS? MERS? Is China trying really to take over the Federal Reserve? How soon will we lose world currency status? Will the upcoming US election make any difference what-so-ever in our imminent slide into bankruptcy? Is the new universal health care law really going to save us or sink us? Are the evil Democrats going to slide us further into socialism or are the sinister Republicans taking us back decades in human intolerance? CNN ~ FOX information wars. A little truth here, mass mis-information there! It’s so bi-polar it’s crazy! Us versus Them. You versus Me.

Weeding through the social and political hubris and debris without a weed-whacker can be a bit of a challenge. It’d be easier to ignore the entire garbage heap, bury our heads, let the weeds and vermin take over (very much like ….hmmm…reality) and live in ignorance, however that doesn’t serve us either. Information is empowering; we can make good sound decisions based on information. Expanding our knowledge base is the best direction combined with intuitive guidance. Now you’re talking smart.

To disentangle from the negative polarizing jungle, make sense of the mayhem, what if we were to create Purple? An alternative clever societal construct we can design, build and live in which is productive, proactive, civic, supportive, environmental, serviceable, imaginative, loving, nurturing, abundant, independent, inventive, exceptionally wise, combined with strong fiscal responsibility. This society honors each other, has reverence, is spiritually abundant, trust worthy, caring, and fun. One which services its people by Empowering them, not making them slaves to welfare, government services, unexceptional education, pharmaceuticals, horrific insecticide laden foods, excessive obtrusive taxation, which disempowers the masses. Think Purple!

Yep, that’s right. Purple places, purple people, purple states. Purple is a great combo dance of calming Blue and energetic Red, of Democratic ideals married to Republican financial accountability. Doing by being responsible, abundant resourcefulness coupled with intelligent inventiveness. Purple.

Visionary enterprise, talented entrepreneurs, sustainable capital. Purple. Working with nature, not against her: Purple. Ingenious architecture, nutritional foods, deductive reasoning and brain-enhanced education: Purple. Healthy families: Purple. Healthy communities: Purple. Healthy states: Purple. Healthy nation: Purple.

No more “you verses me,” “them versus us.” No more Elephant against Donkey, no more Red contrary to Blue. Purple, a blend of ideals, attitudes, beliefs and constructs, where we can live in harmony, in peace.

Here’s to being in a State of Purple, a state of Grace.

“Villains in our Lives: Why Their Roles are Vital”

At one point in our lives or another, villains arise. Maybe that’s too broad a term or too over-arching, however individuals arrive into particular chapters of our life story who create drama, challenge, pain, terror, heart-ache, sadness, loss, grief, disappointment, you name it. The list can obviously go on. But once the offending role is understood, it’ll be easier to applaud their expert miscreant behavior, incredible role-playing, bad-acting and forgive their idiosyncratic performance.

If we compared our life story to a Shakespearean play, a villain or villains are characters whose evil actions are vitally important to the plot. Art mirrors life. Villains are essential ingredients for producing richly textured, colorful and emotionally enhancing lifetimes. We are stronger for them. In other words, the brilliance of their character is the illuminating subplot of our short lifetime. The difficulty arises primarily because we are too close to the storyline, reading our tale word for word. It’s only when we put the book down and analyze, meditate and observe the bigger allegorical gist, do the characters make sense.

I have an example from my own life, perhaps too close to my heart, however I will share. I have two sons. One now is 26, the other 23. Their father, whom I married for all the right reasons but have subsequently divorced, has always been overly hard on my elder son, criticizing him, never giving him the final approval, the push-me-here, the-pull-me-back there. It’s definitely the Zeus complex if you were to study Greek mythology archetypes. Honestly I’ve been so close to it at times I have become angry, sad, mad at myself for not choosing more wisely, and very protective of my son. However, with a new lens, a new viewpoint, which I just shared with my son, a healthier subplot emerges.

What if:
1. His dad ~ our villain in the subplot ~ set this up with him before they entered this life together, to push him, no matter what, into following his dreams and not follow in his footsteps.

2. My son’s task or challenge is to stand up for himself, neglecting his need for approval to do what is best for him, not his dad’s.

3. He became a physical trainer to be strong enough to handle the critical barrage coming from the dad, so that every hurdle, every barbed fence, every negative rope he has to climb to reach the pinnacle, he now has the physical, mental and emotional strength to achieve.

4. He now has the courage to expand his creative credentials because he’s had an adversary to push him by using the theory of opposition as motivation.

Through another lens, he will be healthier, happier, stronger and even more creative for following his heart, his dream and knowing he made it happen based on his inner drive, his perseverance, not his dad’s vision of his path.

Taking a look at the villains in your life, from the wretched mother, scum-ball ex-spouse, spastic self-absorbed boss, narcissistic lover, greedy sibling, mettlesome neighbor, abusive father, thieving business partner, dreary in-laws, brain-dead children, etc etc, from an observer’s perspective, changes the plot line. It’s offers the advantage of shining the spot light on everything you’ve gained and built, let go and forgiven, resolved and actualized. It also pinpoints areas of neglect where you’ve fallen into the trap of repetition and become like them. It gives you the adeptness and ingenuity to change Your autobiography, all because you chose to rewrite their role in your nonfiction, your version of reality.

I invite you to look at every one of these characters in your life-fable from the major players to the one-liners and recognize their amazing well-played performance to enhance your novella. You’ll soon discover there will be several acclaimed academy-award-best-bad-character honors to bestow. I can hear the applause.
