‘Stained Glass Days’

I was having an insightful conversation with a friend, colleague and business mentor today. My book was uploaded to Kindle this afternoon through the help of this wise soul. Her knowledge and know-how have proven to be not only inspirational but invaluable. The information one needs to know about promoting a book is overwhelming especially to the uninitiated. Unfortunately that is me. I, up to this point, have no had no language for this new publishing society with the cyberspace embedded ‘this’ and the reformatting ‘that’.

I still am totally uneducated and under-educated in this department however it’s been an interesting class. It has been necessary discipline, however I am impatiently clambering for the keyboard to  write the next installment in this series.  For me, it’s the playful words which color the images I intuit and the meaning behind and around the words which inspires me. The day to day left-brained filing and editing not so much.

During our conversation, working on the internet from different locations, we branched our conversation to more personal matters. It was fun as it helped fill the moments waiting for sites to upload information. She shared with me her triumphs and tragedies, her losses and gains. Words and images began to fill my mind of her various chapters, the story becoming even clearer.

“Your life has been filled with shattered glass which has become the stained glass windows into your soul”, I said to her.  No one’s life is completely easy or without pain. No one is exempt from challenges and change, give and take, love and loss. However it’s how we deal with it which makes the difference. She was exemplary in this department. Never was there a shred of victim  or martyr mentality in her story, never any ‘woe is me.’ What a beautiful angel in how she recreated her story. I share this as a re-framing-moment. When your mind does the stuck-in-past-cycle it’s inclined to do, visualize the past memories’ colored tiles, as an opportunity to piece together the broken shards into beautiful and graceful images. Recreate them into the worthy, illuminating, and deeply insightful stained glass window of your life.

We went back to discussing business, the book, publishing and  the next project. However the image she left in my mind didn’t leave. It’s indelibly etched into my consciousness, giving me the tools to color, etch, glue and mold my own glass window.

May your life’s stained glass continue to shine, illustrate and glow with your inner beauty!!

Cosmic sunshine to you.

‘The Art of Romance: What Inspires You Emotionally, Animates You Romantically, Ignites You Sexually’

When it gets right down to it, our lives revolve around our relationships. We love being in love, in romantic liaisons, in partnerships of support. Trouble is, this is our greatest challenge. Our divorce rate is over 50%. Something is truly amiss. Last week I spoke of 2013 being a year of relationship soap operas on steroids. Being early January, this is a super opportunity to map out what you would like your year to be about, (and not be involved in), feel like and be inspired by. Time to be really really clear!!

I feel at the heart of our relationship issues is lack of communication and not holding the same vision between the participants. So many of us, our dreams of what a relationship ‘should’ look like are far removed from reality; you know the Cinderella complex. Idealism at its finest. Two people from different backgrounds, perspectives, come together to create a harmonic union together only to have the magic wear off after the first ninety days. Forgotten is the dream to hold the other one in a state of grace, of love.

In addition to the regular assumed (remember that assumption always runs into trouble) great-relationship requirements- honesty, trustworthiness,  honor-ability, humor etc, there are a few essential ingredients I feel are not only necessary but vital to long-term stability and lasting power of connection.

Chemistry: this is at the heart of the first encounter and the underlying pheromones that help create longevity. Keeping and maintaining the allure and magic is vital and each participant is responsible. There are vast differences in our definition of what comprises a good relationship, however most will agree on the magic of physical union. Chemistry is vital for good long term relationships to endure.  In addition to having the physical beauty and attraction, touch is paramount, the electricity sparking under the skin. And yet, even more notable is if the person ‘smells’ right -those vital and imposing pheromones that unite the brains and bodies! Then you know you’re on the right track from the beginning.

Okay; attraction, pheromones, sex and romance. The daily, weekly interconnection and cohesive ritual we seek to validate our reasons for being together. Women, oh we desire true romance, poetry, flowers and long hot kisses. Men, they are happy as sin with steamy, ultra hot sex! Okay, now how long do either of these visions last? Or merge? Over the weekend my husband and I had a discussion about this; even he agreed when we were created, this is one place it went awry. Why? Because in the act of ‘making love’ or sex, when a man has a hard-on, you can ask him anything and he’ll say ‘yes’. His brain has literally left the building and the only thing that runs the machine is his other brain. Afterwards he is ready for a nap, deep sleep, a drink. Women, we’re always present during the act, wanting to please. Afterwards we want to talk, snuggle, hear words of sweet love. We get hurt when the desire is not the same. The key is to not take it personally; they are happy to be together, have an orgasm and get on with the next important thing.  Women tend to be frustrated with this scenario, however it’s just the difference in chemistry and brain make-up. Our communications break apart here. However if both parties understood the differences, our relationships would make the long haul and the perceived romance would continue.

A major part of any emotional relationship is romance or rather what we view to be romantic moments intertwined with daily life. Ironically the word ‘romance’ comes from medieval narratives or prose of extraordinary adventures and mysterious happenings. Later this evolved into mysterious and idealized love, a love affair, a passionately idealistic attachment. We have held onto this vision and molded into our version and idea of love. You see it portrayed in our movies, TV shows, books. Hot scandalous affairs of passion, romantic liaisons between lovers, hold our attention as we visualize how we too could partake in such wild abandon.

The bigger reality and truth is we can achieve this dynamic, close, and passionate relationship with someone and maintain it through the years through communication, dedication of spirit, and subtle niceties to maintain the foundation and infrastructure of the initial encounter. Both parties have to be willing. Both parties have to speak the truth of what inspires them emotionally, animates them romantically, ignites them sexually. Extending the bedroom rituals into tantric sex is another artistic creative direction for a deeper spiritual union between the individuals.

I invite you to ask yourself what does ‘romance’ mean to you? What definition does it hold? Is it flowers? Chocolate, candlelit dinners, a walk on a deserted beach? My husband while computer dating nixed any woman who wrote she loved long romantic walks on the beach. “Are you kidding me?” he stated. “In the NW, a walk at the beach means high gales, heavy fog, sand in chattering teeth. Romantic: not!” Once again another definite and specific definition of romance. Needless to say, I’ve never suggested long beach walks in WA or OR;)

At our house we took a poll between my parents, husband, and kids one afternoon during the holidays. It was fascinating to discover the different ideals. My dad was quick to comment on sweet candlelight dinners together in front of a fire, my older son’s vision was to share gifts and events. He gave his girlfriend new incredibly gorgeous winter boots for Christmas. He loves the thought of watching her wear them as they play together in the snow. (Ironically his girlfriend’s dad didn’t think he had been romancing his darling daughter well, as he hadn’t taken her out for the expensive candlelight dinner. Again, different visions.)  My mom’s definition was similar to my dad’s; they’ve been married for nearly sixty years and have had incredible chemistry. My husband’s idea of romance was spoken with tears in his eyes- –time together sharing our favorite activities; hiking, skiing, water skiing, snow-shoeing, watching a movie by the fire. And of course, sex.

In defining what true romance, emotional connection and spiritual communication means to you and being very clear about it offers you the opportunity to share it with your partner, or spouse, or if you’re not in a relationship, helps you define what it is you’re seeking. Remember you might not be totally on the same page however in describing what it is that’s important to you, the opportunity for the magic to be rekindled, new mysterious adventures started and maintained is ever more present.

For the romantic in all of us.

Cosmic sunshine to you.

‘2013! We’re Here Already: Predictions for the New Year!’

Going out on a limb to see ahead can be full of travails, pitfalls and side paths of possible wrong directions. It’s always fun.  Last year’s 2012 predictions were fairly spot on with the exception of the elections, however I was in good company as even the Hebrew texts predicted a Romney win. Could mean there were forces at play which counterbalanced the outcome, like voter fraud, bad voting machines and corruption, however I won’t go down that dark Chicago alleyway.

The energy for this year is completely different. I’m sure you can even feel the differences in the way you feel personally, or how the air feels in grocery stores, or how the news is streaming. Similar but different. It can be attributed to the freshness we all feel when a new year begins, with the holiday craziness behind us. Or it could be due to the fact we’ll never again see the monthly number duplicated; there will never be a 13/13/13. Not possible. That in itself creates a new perspective on possibilities. Or it could be we have entered into a new paradigm of thought, inspiration and spiritual unity predicted with the solstice of 12/21/12. Whichever fits best with your beliefs is true.

I do feel strongly globally we are seeing more awareness on multiple levels of society with it only progressing over the next decade. This is our opportunity for creating more harmony and understanding as we are linked together in common missions of peace and community cooperation. Both personally and communally we have the ability to take large steps this year towards a more united front. This does not negate the horrible challenges we face as we stare down the long entrenched powerful forces behind the controlling political arenas. They too will fall in time. Holding the vision of peace is vital for this to take place.

Politically, realistically speaking, we are at a cross-roads globally. Nations are at war within their own borders as old world leaders and power-mongers are slowly dying away along with their tyrannical and defeating oppression. We are not out of the weeds, nor will be any  short time soon, however we are ever closer to democratic steps of freedom in the war devastated countries of the globe. More and more organizations and individual opponents are going to be visible than ever before to help shift prejudicial bias, authoritarianism, cruelty and terrorism. There will be noticeable changes in this coming year towards greater autonomy and reasonable direction for individuals in repressed societies. Take Greece as example, it will face allowing the pendulum to swing in a more moderate position, working diligently to pull themselves out of debt and out of the EU. If that means working a five day work week and getting paid for five days – hey, that’s a positive direction. (If you remember the country went on strike for not getting paid for six days while working a four day week). Their golden past will be the impetus for new standards of business, growth and education. Another example is Turkey. She will continue to grow her authority in the middle east and though it might appear her leaders will take her into extremes, clearer vision will prevail. Turkey will swing on both sides till she maintains balance in the middle with a strong voice for that part of the world. This too will be several years in the making however it will be ever more apparent this year as Turkey’s influence is recognized with greater domination.

In America, we will still deal with huge separatism and bi-partisanship as we work with a nation divided by huge ‘ideal’ chasms. This will lead to further progress in creating a third party in the political arena. This will also help identify and clarify which direction individuals will head; towards greater personal responsibility or towards expecting others to lead and take care of their needs. These next seven years will truly discern which direction the US will head. There are probability factors which could arise where more states declare sovereignty, declaring secession from the Union if DC continues on its path; time will tell.  If our values and ideals of our founding fathers are ignited and held as the directional compass we have an incredible opportunity for a new leap in how we as a nation deal with its own issues and those of the world. Unfortunately these changes and steps could be somewhat painful as we learn to unite our goals once again.

Those in power who do not speak the truth, live the truth and are the truth, will fall from grace ever more quickly. Individuals who have in the past and currently been held in high esteem, might surprise the nation as more of these people fall off the wagon and into the mud. I feel our news reels will be full of drama and high stakes poker. Oh the juiciness of it. (wink, wink)

Economically we are not of out of the tall grass and probably won’t be for some time, especially since our gilded leaders refuse to cut spending. This doesn’t take a psychic to figure out if the bank is empty, the bills go unpaid. I feel strongly that people across the nation are going to rally national spirit and personal pride, the entrepreneurial enthusiasm uniting, to initiate the country together towards prosperity, with or without the help of DC. Probably without. I believe this is what Obama represents; igniting personal power (or not). In other words, act in opposition to what is being presented. We all have the opportunity to learn and grow through adversity.  I know as I have seen individuals claim their power to help their neighbors, their employees and their families. This is good news for the communities, the towns, cities and states. And better yet, as America reclaims her power she will share this grace with people globally but more from organizations and individuals than from the government.

Health-wise, we are on a tight-rope. Health will continue to be the number one issue after the economy, focusing our attention on the need to be mindful, disciplined and responsible. New break-throughs will continue in the neuro-sciences and ophthalmology, with eye sight more and more possible for many blind individuals. It’s extremely exciting. What had been only science fiction will become reality in this upcoming year. Cures for cancer will be more prominent though not on the main screen of the AMA. These will be coming out of alternative care, and other countries.  Expect more advances in this department but not in allopath medicine. More attention will be directed at the overwhelming obesity in this country as we honestly face the fact we are a nation of fat people. Much like the movie Wall-E, we have to come to grips with what is, to make the changes absolutely necessary for longevity. It will continue to be a national obsession. The good news is we will look back on this decade and realize we made it through  the sugar, insoluble fat, corn syrup, and deep fried thinking to a better place. It will take till 2020 for the changes to be noticeable but it will take place. Where one in three people today are overweight, by 2020 I feel the numbers will go up to be more reasonable as individuals become more self responsible with their health.  With baby boomers making up most of the population, the  health coverage shrinking and altering, it will force men and women to rely upon holistic practices even more. This is a great thing. Holistic practices encourages non toxic sprays, organic products and better and better treatment of the animals used for the food supply. The changes are slow however they will speed up in this next chapter of this decade.

Energy. We are recognizing our failures in energy creation, as in the use of Ethanol -it’s damaging to motors and to the the food cycle-however with personal dedication and greater minds working towards positive rewards, our energy solutions will be more and more available as our energy demands go up incrementally. http://www.alternativeenergysource.org/pros_cons.htm  There are many scientists behind the scenes who are on the cutting edge of zero-impact energy supply, agricultural connection with nature herself, bacterias to change toxins, viruses for positive evolution, and free energy. The larger corporate conglomerates are not going to be able to hide the alternative energy ideas and implementation or shove it under the radar anymore. They will have to climb on board and share the benefits or be set aside to suffer their own financial demise. It’s going to be rather interesting actually. I think if we were all to read the scientific journals and published articles by leading and not-so-leading engineers and inventors, we’d help support these amazing people who have dedicated their lives to making our world a better place. It would give tangible support and bring their concepts to the light of day. It takes a village to raise a child, it takes a nation to change the policies.

Hollywood; to be honest, I don’t care what goes on with or without the many people who comprise Hollywood. All the bombarding  magazines at the check-out counters with the starlettes and their dramas – is it important, really? I feel we put too much value and emphasis on individuals on and around the big screen. My hope is for higher ‘valued’ productions to be more prominent rather than all the horror, destruction and over-the-top blow-em-up killer movies. Movies from my view are to entertain yes, but more importantly to inspire, offer hope, and show the multifaceted angles of love. Hollywood lacks substance and it’s only through viewer participation or lack thereof will it change.

Relationships are going to be center stage this year. More than any other area of your life, the relationships in your life will take precedence. See the process as provocative, inspirational, arousing, illuminating and stimulating. Relationships in all their guises will be upfront and personal. Think soap operas on steroids. See this year as an opportunity for closing the circle, distinguishing what is truly important, changing how we do things in our working relationships, community relationships, personal and familiar. Have fun. Be observant, see the process as a wild play. Some relationships which have always been steady and true will see slips and changes. Basically the chess pieces are finding new squares on the playing board of life. By this time next year, take time to look back on 2013 and notice how the associations in your world have shifted and hold your attention. Or not. Trust me there will be vivid differences.

I feel this year will offer many opportunities knocking; it’ll be up to you to choose the path which serves you best, curls your toes and inspires you to greater service. Keep the Q-Tips handy, your ears clear, to hear the sound of inspiration and favorable circumstances coming your way. It’s up to you to act upon it. My invitation is for you to share what incredible fortunes come your way for others to see and become inspired.

Happy seeking, happy learning, happy action.

Cosmic sunshine to you and yours for a prosperous, magical and healthy 2013.

‘Waiting for the Sun to Stand Still’

We’re here. This moment that’s been planted into our consciousness globally since 1988 when Jose Arguelles created the Harmonic Convergence Convention. Twenty-four years later we’ve arrived at this monumental date in the time/space continuum based on centuries of astronomical observations by Mayan stargazers.

Since that first rush of large-scale  information in 1988, everything related to the 2012 phenomenon has been written, sold, created, bought and traded. It’s been a whale of a business adventure, a mystical romp and a new age extravaganza.  There are thousands of blogs and posts daily on the topic discussing electrical charges, solar flares, food shortages, political take-overs, our imminent demise, resurrection, and/or Ascension. Wow! Big stuff here!!

Winter Solstice at Chaco Canyon New Mexico.

I remember watching a video ages ago, long before the Mayan calendar infusion, about the solstice knife-of-light in the ancient Anasazi ruins in New Mexico. Include into this sharp-eyed- celebratory surveillance of the equinoxes, solstices and procession of the equinoxes,  the Aztecs, Incas, Egyptians, Persians, Babylonians, Assyrians and the early Celts to name a few. Cultures have been observing this apex, this bi-yearly event in the  earth’s orbit since mankind first looked at the heavens. This moment is nothing new, just re-framed, re-branded and gilded with light. I am not saying this isn’t an incredible juncture in the history of earth. We are entering or have entered a new 26,000 year saga where the earth begins it’s journey back to the center of the galactic center.  This is a time of renewal as we head towards the Source literally, the galactic center of the Milky Way astronomically speaking. It offers multiple opportunities of expansion and growth for the earth, her inhabitants and our neighboring planets in our solar system, galaxy and beyond. This is the time of remembering images and memories of ‘golden’ cities, blissful living and peace. These sagas written about extensively in ancient Sanskrit texts have happened before; they will and are expected to occur again.

Chichen Itza Winter Solstice’ Serpent Rising.

This shift to peaceful living is surmised to take place in an instant. It could also happen in a decade, a century or a thousand as the galactic frequencies change their patterns of energies aligning with the planet. Time is illusionary remember? As humans we love the idea of this magical spiritual shift happening over-night.  Perhaps it will, however I feel it’s a journey within ourselves back to our primary self, our oversoul linked eternally with Source, which from experience, takes time, patience and multiple ‘returns’. Like the sun in the heavens, circling back once again to reclaim the perpetual and constant ‘return of light,’ we too return to reclaim our personal light within.

Winter solstice in Alaska.

This epic solstice of 2012 has created awareness in individuals who previously have been dormant, inactive in their spiritual thinking, and/or unaware of the procession of the equinoxes. My hat is off to Jose Arguelles for creating this momentum in astronomical consciousness and to Drunvelo Melchizedek for leading the spiritual center between continents and dimensions. To Graham Hancock who paved the way in the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and today with historical references, ancient cities and far-away space travelers to John Major Jenkins who through dedication, time and intense perseverance studied the Mayan ruins scientifically and spiritually. These individuals and countless other’s have helped reach the world with new thoughts about our ancient past combined with what is possible for our future.

New Grange, County Meath, Winter Solstice.

My invitation while waiting for the ‘sun to stand still’ is to ‘still’ your thoughts, listen actively to the voice within and follow threads of old patterns rising to the surface of consciousness. Allow them to dissipate through self examination and observation. Pack them up in old boxes and take them to the trash-heap of emotional bygones. As the sun sets for it’s gabillionth shortest day of the year, set aside old ways, habits and thoughts. Bless the sun as it rises in the sky the following morning renewing your soul with the hope of change, conscious expansion and awareness. And forever. Believe each day from now on will be eternally changed, with love the guiding star and hope the faithful rudder.

Cosmic sunshine to you.

‘The Art of You, the Art in Me’

Yesterday I was at the gym with my 24 year old son. He’s a stud, literally. He has sculpted his compact frame into taunt muscles and sinewy stride. His straight shoulders, filled out with muscle and brawn narrow perceptively well to his waist. His intense dedication to practice and perseverance is relentless and on the soft side of addiction to perfection.331684_2521748645768_905654062_o

Ironically from his perspective he has miles to go before he reaches the results he’d like to achieve. He’s studying to become a fitness trainer in combo with nutrition and marital arts. He probably gets the perfectionism from me. His dad is a perfectionist as well so my kids didn’t stand a chance. I apologize all the time to them for my transgressions as a mom in this department.

The reason I feel this is an important topic is we seldom see our own beauty, our special uniqueness. I can vouch for this. When I’m asked to close my eyes and drop my arms to my sides to match my hips, consistently  my arms are two to three inches beyond what is real. Shows what my internal image is of myself verses the reality. I feel my son is in the same category. I don’t feel this is unique to our family either but rather pandemic due to the huge barrage of media images and every machine now dedicated to eliminating years from our bodies.

I feel we – I – instead could use a dose of seeing the Art within ourselves, the art and beauty in others. If we were to see ourselves as a canvas on which we can paint, outline, change, sculpt, shade and lighten anything and everything about ourselves and then visualize the final canvas, we could feel, sense and be the image in our minds. Our own beautiful masterpiece. A Leonardo exquisite beauty, a romantic Waterhouse poet, a Gauguin islander, a Watteau flirt. Enjoy the magic of the colors, the brushes, the composition. Perhaps then the flaws would be the brushstrokes of ingenuity, courage, the stories behind the wrinkles steeped in love and lore. Choose the subject, be the image. Have fun as you paint yourself in vivid colors, the background as important as you the subject.

And if you choose to have a master painter share in the composition we can then compare our tales of the artful journey together.

Cosmic sunshine to you.

‘Stairway to Heaven One Step at a Time’

Committing to a month of daily blogs was a larger endeavor than first assumed. Back to that ‘assumption’ thing. I’ve learned years ago to never assume anything; life usually throws a curve ball and has other things in mind. Same held true for this monthly blog. Life jumped in on several occasions keeping my attention on other issues.

It has been a pleasure to connect with the many new people along this path. I feel it’s broadened my understanding of journey’s similar and far different than my own. I have an even greater empathy for many who have been challenged with chronic conditions, illnesses of debilitation, and great loss. I am grateful to the core group of individuals who made this project possible connecting many similar and diverse people under one umbrella of service. I feel it has provided a very safe and valuable purpose.

One piece of beneficial information I will share from the many years of my own recovery. When we slip back into pain, which is one of those unfortunate steps dealing with an illness, it is far too easy to become mired in frustration, fear, despair and blame. Usually it’s self blame loaded with fear.  When this moment arrives, it is essential to hold onto every moment of success, every gain you’ve experienced. Feel it in your bones, your cells, in your mind clearly. Remember or rather re-member (re-gather) yourself back to where you felt well. Even if it’s only a minor change, any change in betterment is key. Make this your ‘go-to’ arrival station, your happy place in your mind, in your thinking. When you do, your brain and all its glorious chemistry and electrical wires will re-establish the place where you’d been, the location on the healing-map where you felt better. Every time you do this, literally your healing will accelerate and you will step up another rung of the ladder.

This invaluable tool of ‘See yourself well, Be well’, will make a difference in your long-term progression. It will help you climb the stairs to health, vitality and wholeness.

Road to recovery one step at a time.

Road to recovery one step at a time.

Cosmic sunshine to you.

I will resume my weekly blog on Monday. Thanks for hanging in there with an overload of the written word.

“The Field of Potentiality: The Divine Shift”

The ancients were wise. They created healing temples, structures of immense dimension corresponding to heavenly alignments and mathematical planetary grid lines. More importantly, the placement/location of stones, the particular composition of gems, atoms and chemicals, amplified the energy of place. These ancient edifices created an energy-break from the amplified fields of geothermal, geopathic, atmospheric, and electromagnetic stresses impacting the physical bodies. It was as if the auric field around the body was clear, completely free from outside weight, almost as if the body, mind and spirit were beyond the natural range of gravity.

Imagine how those ancient architects and spiritual leaders would handle the toxic levels of stresses, electromagnetic frequencies from cell phones, towers, micro-waves, computers, and the high doses of chemicals we now have on the planet? They’d probably never leave the confines of their healing palaces, instead choosing to live out the remainder of their lives sequestered away from the may-lay.

And we wonder why we are challenged physically on so many levels? We no longer have access to these temples of rejuvenation, light, with connection to the higher gods. Our religious temples are no longer built with sacred geometry in accordance to the stars and earth. We don’t have places of zero-interference allowing our beings and souls to heal.

I have contemplated this conundrum over and over. How can we as a population create a new dynamic in which to play, participate, grow, expand and be totally in oneness? The ancients knew the path, the direction. And yet in our high tech society, historically we still tend to view the past as beneath us, behind us in knowledge and understanding. I mean, they didn’t have ipads right? And yet it is the ancient wisdom that’ll teach us how to create this divine shift.

Since most can’t visit ancient sites on a regular basis for recovery, it is up to us to create the space and place for vibrancy. Of course there is the path of healthy eating, exercise, rest, supplements and laughter. But beyond this is the field I believe is necessary for the actual change to take place. As individuals we need to participate, make the stand, and step into this grand illusion of design and change the patterns. Yes esoteric, yes airy-fairy, woo-woo. But it is what is missing in actual healing, the next evolutionary leap. We have to take command of our lives. We have to visualize daily this ‘field’ of potentiality, this field where the heavy-hitting frequencies are no longer apparent, where they are non-existent. Like the ancient healing temples. We have to create them in an alternate reality and make it permanent in our reality.

This is the concept of the new paradigm. Our ability to visualize what we are capable without limitations.  A challenge yes, but a definite positive direction in which to place our thoughts, actions and talents.

Here is my invitation. Imagine daily being in this field of beauty, filled with like-minded beings, friends to love and support the dream. Nature is rich, alive and fecund. It supports all life, is vibrantly electric, colorfully bright. In this field, everything and everyone is free from electro-magnetic overload, is free from chemicals, free from dis-ease, free from the weight of denseness. Feel this zero-impact on your senses, your cells, your structure. Feel your emotional load diminish. Experience and receive the higher frequencies of awareness. Savor your physical strength. Welcome the unity will all life, all beings. Appreciate this shift in perception. Be it. Make it so!

Bring this experience into your waking dream. Make it your reality. Be free from the negative gravitational field of stress. Only you can make this happen. Only you have the power to make it real. If we do it together, join forces and hold hands, we have the power to design the zero-break, the ancient healing temple of and in our minds. Remember the mind is the key to all creation, all reality.

Come join me in the field; we’ll hold hands, sing and rejoice. Meet me in our dreams. We’ll change waking reality when we do. And healing will no longer be an issue; we’ll be healed from the inside out.

Cosmic sunshine to you.

‘The Path to the Top’

Being in the mountains makes me happy.  Just looking at photos brings a smile to my face. On days when the schedule is tight, the calendar full, thinking of the mountains is stimulating and brings balance and harmony to my mind.

Recently there was just an email floating around about ‘The Sound of Music’. What an inspiration. ‘Climb Every Mountain’  fits well into the ‘healing’ theme about reaching our goals for wholeness and vitality. May this song fill your heart with inspiration.

Getting to the top of the healing-mountain can take multiple forms and many paths. Discovering the one which fits you best, opens new vistas and opportunities for improvement. Each side path  offers possibilities for various perspectives, new diversions, and perhaps even a different destination. Find the ‘healing’ trail which is stimulating, motivating and sparks your enthusiasm. You will reach the top of the mountain and complete your journey when you do. And if you truly take your healing to the forest, it will fill your heart with  gladness that only nature can bring. It is the fastest road to recovery there is.

Cosmic sunshine to you.

“I Bet You Didn’t Know ‘White-Out’ is a Potent Healing Agent”

I bet you didn’t know adding ‘White-Out’ to your infamous bag of tricks will change your life. Yep, that and Duck Tape. Remember it can do everything from saving you from alien attacks to taping back aging sags. Not the White-Out of course but good ol’ Duck Tape.

Back to the White-Out. Funny when I wrote White-Out, I heard ‘Wipe-Out’ in my mind. You remember the infamous song by the Safaris?

Ironically the two have a similar vibe, a connection. Wiping out or ‘whiting out’  the negatives in our lives really puts us in a new groove, a new space to invite happiness, health and vitality in. It allows room for new ideas, inventions, thoughts and emotion to fill our minds, our beings.

I taught myself this trick years ago. I was extremely angry with my husband’s best man at our wedding. He brought (are your truly ready for this?) not only gallons of alcohol to our wedding, but also cocaine. I was livid. (I have never done any kind of drugs in my life – this was blasphemous to me, a total slap of disrespect.) I wasn’t truly aware of what was going on as the bridesmaids and I were doing other things during the day, however my intuition was on high alert. When my soon-to-be-husband showed up, burnt like a lobster, a vacant smile on his face, I knew I was in trouble.  During the ceremony, the minister had to remind him to say “I do” and put the ring on my left hand, not my right. Needless to say, I was deeply hurt, angry and sad, our ‘day’ was blighted with such stupid behavior. I have to admit, it took me two years to get past this emotionally. It isn’t easy to let go and forgive.

I knew I had to change my reaction, my thoughts, so I could move forward and be happy. Torturing myself wasn’t the answer by reliving the event over and over. Instead, I chose to place the best man (my husband too) up against a white wall in my mind. I took a gallon of paint or ‘White-Out’ and began to color over his face, their faces, carving a smiley face to remind me of happy memories. Every day I did this. I took five, ten sometimes fifteen minutes visualizing the process, till I could not longer see the negative, the emotional hurts. Till he was totally ‘whited-out’ of my emotional fields and became invisible. I did this till it was no longer an issue in my heart. It worked.

Whiting-out someone or something takes dedication and perseverance. It’s you who sets the stage to make it happen. Utilize a coffee break, sitting at the DMV, waiting in line, to paint, white-out and improve your memories of tragic, sad, unhappy or unhealthy events and people. Then it’s time to bring out the box of crayons, the paint box of colors to begin to design a new model, a happy memory to replace the old.

‘Macular Degeneration; The Road to Total Darkness’

It’s interesting. I commit to a thirty day health blog and ‘life’ has had other duties for me to fulfill. The best part of this, is recognizing when to let-go and focus on what is truly important. And the biggest irony of all, is one the reasons for not being at my computer, has been the ‘health’ of my eighty-four year old father.

National Health Blog Post Month!

I’m an only child. My dad has and always will be my hero. Even in all of his frailties, his transgressions, his addictions, he is my ‘go-to’ guy, my cheerful and always optimistic dad. He was diagnosed with macular degeneration six years ago. (Eleven million people have some form of macular degeneration here in the United States, and is the leading cause of blindness in individuals over 60 years of age.) At that point, he’d been golfing eighteen holes regularly having taken up the sport at 75. He and my mom, hiked, camped, traveled, skied and played together, having joined forces fifty-eight years ago. With the total loss of his right eye in a blink, it rocked his world. His left eye has been legally blind since he was a kid. Having to see completely out of a blind eye was a new instant reconfiguration of his life.

You have to understand this guy. He was the first one as a child, who would tell me I was fine, I would heal instantly by just knowing it. You could watch these huge cuts and bruises on him heal over night as his immune system kicked into gear. He was my first ‘healing’ teacher, the one that started my direction. And he didn’t even know it. He has had innumerable injuries all of which healed rapidly and even more so, incredulously.

He began working his defunct and dis-functional left eye, doing daily exercises till he could see the print on the newspaper (of course with magnifying glasses). He could watch TV, could go out for a walk with my mom. He never gave up the task of being better, of healing – to see. And then the left eye began to deteriorate.

Thus began the long, arduous ordeal of routine shots to the eye, super-duper drug injections to ward off macular degeneration. Ironically, from my point of view, they have only  hastened the decline. Every time a new shot was injected, his sight never recovered to the point before the injection. Their belief in the doctor has never desisted, instead always choosing to listen to her, even when common sense dictated otherwise.

The bigger picture is he is on ‘coumadin’, a medication used for keeping the blood thin and free from clotting. Rat poison from my perspective, however they believe in it’s power. In addition, he’s an alcoholic. A great prescription for thick blood, high blood pressure and liver failure. I have tried so many times I can’t begin to count, to dissuade them from this journey, allow the eye to take its course naturally especially at his age, to utilize alternative substitutes to improve his health and immune system, natural remedies for the blood such as ‘nattokinase’, a plant and soy based supplement with fabulous blood balancing results. (I have my husband on it, having weaned him from high blood pressure medicine. His numbers are great too.)

I have had strong images of what was in-store. I wish I’d been wrong. He went in for his monthly shot and a blood vessel was hit, his eye filling with blood. The blood began to clot and become thick, not allowing the body to absorb it. The doctor had to go into the eye again and rotor-rooter the inside of the iris, sucking up the excess. Fortunately for that moment he was able to see again. Unfortunately his doctor was adamant that only by continuing the shots would he be able to stave off the degeneration.

Okay, let’s take a minute. He’s on coumadin. He’s a heavy drinker. He’s 84 and has just had  innumerous shots and trauma to his eye. Are you beginning to get the picture? I suggested, invited, cajoled, anything to get him to NOT have another shot. He was given a reprieve, a gift. Don’t mess with it. Unfortunately that didn’t happen. He went in for anther shot the day before they came for the holiday and guess what?? It happened again. Another blood vessel was struck filling his eye with blood. He is now 100% blind. The irony is, the doctor filled the eye with medication to fight the macular degeneration only to get the results they were hoping to avoid.

Lights out. Game over.

My parents were here with me this past week. My mom who is 76 is doing all the work, all the time. She’s amazing, a woman half her age wouldn’t be able to keep up, however the stress is taking its toll. I tried to help her by helping my dad.

The reason for sharing this story is to remind, invite and encourage you to listen to your inner voice. Utilize common sense when dealing with your health. Reach out and learn new modalities for your best direction or someone you love. I have heard of a doctor here in Washington who is having success with macular degeneration by using  intravenous vitamin therapy. There is hope in alternative directions.

I just hope the loved ones in your life will listen to you.

Cosmic sunshine to you.
