‘Emotional Connections Generate Health; Who Motivates and Inspires You?’

The people in our lives who inspire us, teach us to be better and love us, no-matter-what-side-of-the-bed we get up on, are our true blessings. These wonderful and loving individuals give use daily cheerfulness and support. This translates into personal joy, spinning into healthy relationships with people far beyond our personal interactions. When we are happy in our worlds, we tend to share that happiness with others.National Health Blog Post Month!

If you are challenged with calamity, illness, poor career, relationships – you name it- take time to analyze what is possible to change, let go and heal. Sometimes it is really difficult to move beyond toxicity in life, however I highly invite you to identify the issues and make it a priority, a numero uno commitment to yourself!!!!  Now this could include not communicating with a family member who no longer serves the greater good of who you are, or a job that is demeaning. In any case, it will benefit your health and peace-of-mind to move into a new direction. This could eventually mean a move physically, to seeking a new career, to choosing to divorce. In the end it will prove to be positively supportive of your inner sanctuary and contentment. I feel that’s what we’re striving for – harmony.

Identify your support system, draw them into your world daily. Communicate openly. Trust your inner heart.  I talk to my kids every day. They live three and a half hours away; we make it a point to check in and discover what is important ‘today’. I speak and write of them as they are truly my greatest joy.

Friends, Food, Wine and Sex = Longevity

The twenty-five years following WWII created a population growth spurt which has resulted in higher numbers in the 55 years and older bracket. These baby boomers are in the fastest bracket for health care concerns and needs. Big surprise, no. The continuing question is how to care for this large demographic which currently takes from 20-90% of the health care services.

Fortunately this generation grew up with hard work, motivation, and determination to better themselves.  That’s the good  news. The bad news is all too often they turn their power over to the medical profession in hopes of finding the magic pill to stave off disease and old age. What needs to be implemented is a new strategy of vitality, generating a robust lifestyle long into old age.

The ‘blue island’ areas on the planet, those locations where people consistently live well into their 80’s, 90’s and 100’s,  have dependable statistics of longevity and health. These are the identifiable comparable likenesses between these unique hot-spots on the planet.

1. Good food. Fresh from the garden without pesticides. Little or no meat, fish being the main protein source.  Lots of fresh vegetables with beans as an additional protein. Dinners are always light fare.

2. Social time with friends and family is a daily activity.

3. Drinking a glass or more of red wine is a regular activity, even for breakfast. (A bit over the top for me, but hey, who am I to say?)

4. Good happy regular sex is also a mainstay. Men are known to have lasting prowess.

5. Fresh air and getting outside and nature.

6. Staying busy, having purpose. Many are still involved in activities and/or their work/jobs.

6. Attitude.

If we were to incorporate more of these ideas into our lifestyles, the ability to live well into our golden years with stamina and steam would be the norm. And just trying would be fun: regular wine, great sex, good friends, fresh air, a purpose for rising – wow! With this great combo-platter of ideas, my mind already feels the emotional’ attitude lift which is a vital component of health at any age. The benefits and possible results are definitely worth the effort.

Has anyone tried Chateau Montelena’s Cabernet Savignon? I highly recommend it, just maybe not for breakfast.

‘Demanding Healthy Food: Is the Population Ready?’

Anyone who knows me is aware of the soapbox I can happily stand upon – and it can be on a myriad of topics too. As many have stated, I am fairly opinionated.  Okay, now with the truth revealed, my favorite soapbox and even more importantly my passion is health! Health is all its guises, vitality from within.

My biggest rampage, my personal soapbox, is about the foods we put into our bodies, the fuel that serves our cells to keep us moving daily. Our foods today are loaded, no saturated, with so many ingredients that don’t nourish our bodies, enliven our systems or keep us healthy. All we have to do is watch people – anywhere- to see the amount of obese individuals, now over one-third of the adult population in the states, to see literally things need to change! This doesn’t take into account obese children, as well as those individuals who carry an extra ten to twenty, maybe thirty  pounds of fat luggage, who now think this is normal. Percentage wise, I feel there are more people with weight issues than those who have healthy body-fat ratios. Add to the obesity  rates, the 70%  who are unhealthy or worse, sick and/or dying. And we wonder why our health care costs are staggeringly outrageous?  Hmmm, let me think.

To put it into context, next time you pull in to a gas station, buy galleons of pop and put it into your gas tank. See how far it goes, how well it will drive. Yet this is what we do on  a regular basis to our bodies: pop, ice cream, french fries, nachos, hamburgers, cheesy pizza, donuts, cookies, white bread with preservatives, calorie laden morsels of fat, chemicals and sugars. And I didn’t even mention all the pesticides, insecticides, and herbicides saturating our fruits and vegetables. OMG!!

Asking people to change is at the core of the challenge. Most individuals are not ready to give up their caramel chocolate latte frappuccino with 600 plus calories, or their morning pork patties filled with nitrates, preservatives and high doses of sodium or that fabulous chocolate decadent cake. Walking away from Friday night pizzas and beers? Not likely to happen. And yet this is at the core of what is wrong with our health. Our choices. If we as consumers were to demand healthy foods, were to boycott manufacturers asking for organic healthy ingredients, resisting Cheetos, fish and chips,  burritos, bear-claws, etc, we actually might get the farmers and food companies to change what it is they produce. And with that our health would improve.

We as consumers aren’t ready for this shift.

This is my dream, my passion – changing our body’s fuel – the reason for my soapbox. Come join me, there is plenty of room.

The All Essential Goodies at the Bottom of the Bag

Guys are fortunate. They carry a billfold, possibly a hat and keep their lives simple. We women carry an armed tank on our shoulders filled with tidbits from every room in the house.  And we wonder why our shoulders and necks ache.  The weight of these gorgeous bags continue to add up though we are loathe to shift to a smaller purse on the chance we might need something, sometime, somewhere.

Having taken notice of what it is I do transport from bag to bag I realize just what is truly important to me. First thing of course even before the billfold is my cell phone. Thank god too they now have cameras as I used to carry a camera regularly. Year-round sunglasses of course to protect the eyes and a fingernail file. Comes in handy too as cross-over screw-driver in a pinch if you use a metal one.

I do admit I always, and I do mean always, carry bottles of essential oils of lavender and peppermint. Lavender for calming, but more importantly for muscle aches from carrying that heavy purse. Peppermint is my number go-to oil for about everything from upset stomach, to breathing difficulties to sore and achy muscles. It’s your all around ubiquitous oil. Truly awesome. I sometimes have in a homeopathic vile of apis mellifica on the off chance someone has an allergic reaction and/or arnica for accidents. And then of course there is the Larabar for protein. Too many blood sugar issues these days.

Being in the healing field these essential items truly do come in handy. If you have a little extra room in your handbag, I invite you to consider adding these small vital things for those ‘in case’ moments. You’ll be glad you did.

‘The Path to Health is Your Own: Trust Your Instincts’

We are continually growing, evolving and discovering new ideas, concepts and tools to teach us how to thrive. The key is to discover the ones that work for us and to trust our instincts when someone suggests protocols  which just don’t sit well within our psyche.  It is far too easy to throw away our power and experience a slide back-down-the-rabbit-hole of illness, or emotional despondency when something doesn’t work.  I know, as I have experienced this situation more than once on my road to health and well-being.

In the medical professions’ defense, I know that individuals and doctors are coming from a place of total belief their methods are safe, productive and reliable in finding the best path for recovery. The truth is, everyone is unique; everyone’s hand print is their own and special. The same applies within the process of recovery. Not every methodology is perfect for everyone. There are over 106,000 deaths per year from complications from medicines as an example. This is not even including the allergic reactions to medications and complications that arise causing added stress and delay to the healing process. Again, everyone has their own blueprint.

Listen, listen and listen again to your inner guidance, not giving away your power out of fear. If that gut-level voice is not loud and strong then rethink whatever it is being suggested. Trust your instincts; don’t be afraid to say ‘no’ to your doctor. It is after all your body, your health at stake. Not theirs. No one has the right to tell you what is right for you, but you. The knowledge you gain through exploration, discovering and listening to your inner truth,  trusting your ‘gut’, the power within becomes strong, guiding your compass north to vibrancy. Remember there are many paths up the mountain. Find the right one for you.

‘National Health Month: The Underlying Reasons for My Passion’

Health and vitality are extremely important to me, in fact it’s my passion!! I thrive on learning new information weekly, if not daily to literally improve our standards of health and living. I have always been healthy though I have had my share of wild and crazy accidents over the course of my life that have set up imbalances in my structure. It is this course that has amplified my health conscious mission.

In junior high I had a pressure cooker blow up on me creating third degree burns on my thighs, arms and stomach. It took months to heal the skin and muscles. I have no scars though it wasn’t until I was out of high school before the skin on those areas was back to normal. In the next year, I had a T-bar at a ski resort hit me directly on my mouth, breaking my teeth, cracking the  mandible and altering my neck and back. This set up back issues for decades. Adding injury upon injury, right after college I fell skiing where I dislocated my sterno-clavicular joint (on the clavical area the bone protrusion is still visible) and dislocated and bruised my ribs. I wore a neck brace for six weeks. And then again in 1993, once again I fell skiing (of course there had been innumerable falls skiing and biking in between affecting my knees) dislocating ribs, my back and injuring my neck fairly severely. It set up years of  recovery, doctors, rehab, and learning how to become well and normal. I asked hundreds of questions, was rewarded with thousands of answers, read, experimented with every alternative resource.

To complicate matters, my second son reacted to his immunizations in 1991. It took diligent alternative care to get him to a place where he could sleep on his own, could breathe without the continual gurgle and wheezing. He had reacted to the pertussis in the DPT shot. I cradled him in my arms nightly for two years in a rocking chair catching as much sleep as possible, otherwise he couldn’t sleep; his lungs were too congested. It wasn’t until he passed his second birthday was he able to breathe normally. This began my journey of natural and alternative methods of healing.

Skiing with my mom on Mt Hood early 1980's, summer skiing.

A “12” Day with my mom on Mt Hood, Oregon, summer skiing.

In 1999, our local paper mill emitted toxin chemicals into the air, putting 42 school children into the hospital. Unfortunately I was home that day and was nuked by the chemicals. It sent my immune system into a three year recovery period of rebuilding my strength, my lungs, my resistance. It was at this time I took my health even more directly under my own care. I learned to intuitively ‘see’  the systems, organs and structure of my own body. I learned how to energetically move and realign balance in my bones and chakras and meridians. What took me thirty minutes to an hour to achieve, I can do now in less than a minute . People began asking if I could do for them what I’d done for myself. It was the beginning of the next chapter I have been passionately committed to,  since my world changed so many years ago.

Everything I have learned I share with others, from working individually with clients, to teaching seminars and workshops to writing a blog and my books. I want to energize others into taking their own health into their hands and being proactive rather than leaning so heavily on the health care system that is in need of repair and wellness itself.

From my personal challenges I have gained great awareness and insights I am compelled to share.

May you health be in alignment with your highest ideals.

‘Ask Yourself: What Would You Do If You Were President?’

With tensions high and animosity at an all time extreme, determining the finer details of leadership and moral responsibility is worthy of everyone’s attention, even if you don’t have a political affinity or are steeped in historical perspective. Looking at facts without emotional attachment is also a requirement. Now the stage has been set, what you would do if you were the person in charge of the entire country? The job requirements are steep, a trip to your local hairdresser a must, as the gray hairs will appear daily from the continual stress of maintaining a large country filled with such opposing forces.

We forget we all live under one umbrella – the dome of freedom.  We are all citizens residing together to create harmony, united in our belief in our nation. It’s really quite simple. We want value in our lives, support from our local friends, family and services, we want safe neighborhoods, good roads, a dependable infrastructure. We want a thriving economy to reflect our needs of sustaining a happy home. We want religious freedom to choose what feels best for our souls. We want medical expertise to help us in time of need.We want the best educational system putting us back in the top five in the world. We want to feel free to experience adventures, activities, learn new exciting information, travel to where ever our hearts desire. We want creative outlets, artistic expression available, visible in our skylines. We want clean fresh air, countrysides filled with beautiful and healthy fields, fruits, vegetables, and sustainable forests.  We want balance in all areas. And well, if you don’t – you might be considered crazy, uncaring, an atheist, an unhappy terrorist. In reality we all desire the same underlying elements, even if it means our roads come from  different locations on the map to reach the same destination.

We are a nation of huge disparity, differences and ideals, yet we are united in the desire for peace, love and family. Peace in all guises, for all people. Even for our assumed enemies. If truth be told, I don’t feel one person truly desires war for war’s sake. If given the opportunity, the choice of living in joy verses living in terror is a human dream in every country.

Right now there is so much mud slinging it is incomprehensible. What blows me away is the behavior being explored by many of the White House. To me it is deplorable to see such manipulations arising. But this is nothing new. It’s been part of politics for eons. It is easy to site many examples throughout history. Socrates, Caesar, Mary Queen of Scots, Charles the First, King Louis the XVI, Napoleon, Lincoln, Kennedy and on and on.

From a spiritual perspective it truly comes back to us, the individual. We  need to see what or how we are living our own lives, being in accord with our highest visions for ourselves. When we live with integrity, we mirror it to those around us, spreading out like spilled water into every echelon, including the governing sector, which shifts our goals. We as citizens need to hold a higher ideal in our hearts for change to truly take place. Employ the belief that people are intrinsically good when they choose public office rather than believing it is always about power. (This one is directed right at me by the way).

So what would you do if you were the president of the United States? I believe if each one of us took the time to hold the thought, the idea of being in charge, in balance between the intellect and the emotions, it would offer better clarity and understanding to and for those who truly are in power. I also feel those thoughts would eventually impact the intentions of those in D.C. You see, I believe goodness prevails.

The one thing I will give to Obama for his four years in office, is his ability to rally people into political awareness. Not since the Vietnam War have the citizens of the U.S. been so politically motivated. It’s a great thing. It’s consciousness arising. I feel he’s missed the mark of living in his ‘light’ and following the grand design he’d set out for himself, instead being sucked into the muck and mire of destructive power.  That’s my intuitive thought, however I know it will piss off all those who believe otherwise. So be it. That’s what makes life special; we have a right to how we feel and believe. In the meantime, again what would you do if you were totally in charge?

Here are a few of my ideas:

1. Make Daylight savings time permanent.  Add an extra hour like it was done in WWII.

2. Abolish the Fed.  We do not need an organization of un-elected people deciding our fate and holding us hostage to their financial dictates.

3. Create a flat tax for everyone. Period. No loopholes, no exceptions.  Create a low flat tax for corporations, with incentives for green energy, and environmental upkeep. We desire a economic and environmentally rich nation; both can be achieved through unison and working with nature rather than against her. This brings our businesses back home so more of our people can be employed.

4. Decrease the IRS by 90%. We pay an exorbitant amount in taxes for this organization. With a flat tax the need for so many would decrease incrementally immediately with extra funding supporting environmental disasters.

5. Every government department would be downsized and organized by productivity. This would increase revenues for alternative projects. Each department would be run like a business, not government. This frees up millions in revenue to support funding for multiple projects aiding education, the poor and sick. (Check out facts and figures for example on the Department of Energy)

6. No government union employees would be allowed to strike. (Government workers make on average 22% more than the average non-government employee or employer with all insurances, investments and retirement.)

7. The U.S. would support through education,  nations of great needs.

8. We would withdraw from all wars.

9. We would strengthen our borders with intelligence,  brain power and man power, making it a privilege to come to America to live.

10. We would have a clear immigration law, using what is in place and allowing those who have been in the country 10 years to gain legal status by taking citizens requirements without fear of deportation. Those with fewer years have the first opportunity to apply for a Green card and be first in line to move here. Immigrants will be required to pay taxes for all the services they desire.

11. The U.S would be firm in stance around world, yet not involved in skirmishes and wars not of our choosing. Unless we are in harms way or have been attacked we will not go to war. Period.

12. There will be no GMO’s without labels. All foods must declare all products added. No exceptions.

13. Pesticides, insecticides, herbicides, cleaners etc. will have to be reformulated into organic ingredients to preserve our natural environment and health.

14. All supplements and vitamins will be legal, though all  ingredients will need to be listed.  Government cannot take away alternative health sources. Individuals have the ability to choose for themselves.

15. Gay marriage is legal, with no special laws giving extra status. All individuals are part of the Great Cosmic Divinity. All souls have a right to love and be wed.

16. Marijuana would be legalized with government control and taxes applied. Laws would be similar to alcohol, making it illegal for minors. (Imagine the amount of taxes rededicated to something uplifting like  new bridges instead of incarceration? And I’ve never smoked a joint in my life.)

17. The right to choose: Abortion will stay legal, however with strict stipulations. No abortions will be legal after the first trimester unless the health of the mother is in jeopardy.  It’s a nice balance for both sides of the fence.

18. Strict adherence to the Constitution.

19. All Senators and Representatives will be subject to the laws they implement. Period. They are not above the law. When their commitment is over, due to being voted out or the two term limits is over, they will move back into the private sector to find a job with a severance of one year, not funding for the rest of their lives.

20. More laws will be put to a vote of the people rather than having 545 people decide the fate of the entire nation.

21. FEMA will do its job.

22. Guns will be legal, though no assault weapons will be available to the public. Period. Citizens can have rifles for hunting or one handgun but we do not need to be a nation of guns. Background checks will be strenuous and arduous.

23. English is and was still the number one language of America. All immigrants learned this a century ago, it can still be done today. Respect for other languages is standard and logical, but English is still the language of America.

24. Congress is required to balance the budget. If they do not, they lose their personal funding and job, being replaced by a special vote in their state.

25. The President is required to be dignified 365 days a year and be of the highest standards at all times. Impeachment is the penalty, swift and fast. He is also required to be at meetings of all foreign dignitaries, at military meetings, and for any disasters etc etc.

26. The President isn’t allowed to stoop to talk shows for popularity. This is the President of the United States. It is a high profile position which requires time and attention to detail of the highest regard.

27. The President is not allowed to use tax payer’s monies to support the campaign for re-election.

28. The President and First Lady are not allowed to use tax payer monies for vacations anywhere. They are in service to the nation, not to take advantage of power. They are paid a salary and can use personal monies for such. They are also not allowed to take an entourage over 15 on any trip on tax payers monies.

29. Our school system will be relegated to the states, giving them the authority to fire teachers like any other job. Teachers unions will not have the complete control. Parent and students will have the choice of charter schools.

30. Planned Parenthood will be dictated by the states giving each state the ability to choose for themselves if the citizens of each state want to pay for abortions or if it is the person’s personal responsibility. (Hmm, let me think on that one. I believe in personal responsibility)

31. The Federal Government is in charge of the nation’s safety and infrastructure of roads, freeways, bridges, all construction which unites the nation while local needs are the requirement of the states.

32. Health Insurance will be dictated by the states rather than the Federal Government and especially one who hasn’t read the thousand of pages written. Massachusetts is a great example of state health insurance.

33. The USA will continue to exude empathy and aid to other nations in need without the need for dominance and control for resources.

34. The US will be energy independent utilizing our own resources, both intelligently and conservationally  using our own gas, oil, natural gas, coal, solar, wind, and alternative sources, putting millions to work. Economics and environment, working hand in hand.

35. Congress would be required to work in the middle striving for balance and compromise for the good of the country. No gridlock would be allowed for over six months. The problems will need to be ratified within that time frame or their jobs are in jeopardy.

36. No special committees will be implemented until everything is cleaned up in the departments already organized. The tax payers do not need to pay extra for what they have already voted upon.

37. The USA will work closely with our allies for a healthy earth.

38. The USA will work diligently with our enemies towards a unified field of thinking and consciousness, recognizing our differences, supporting our similarities.

39. Our National Parks would be a top priority to preserve and maintain their pristine conditions. The people’s working the parks would have support and monies for construction, rehabilitation, animal habitat etc.

40. Gold will be the standard, keeping the pressing of paper money in balance.

41. Banking will have strict guidelines, independent and not government owned.

42. The stock market will adhere to strict standards, disallowing futures speculators to generate large crashes in the market.  The taxes on all revenues from stocks stays at a flat low rate.

43. Personal ID is required for all voting. Voting will go back to paper ballots for security purposes.

44. Blood tests will be required by all 50 states for welfare.

45. etc……

I could probably write for the rest of the afternoon, however I think you have an idea of where I would love to see the country head. I know I’ve forgotten many things, however others don’t require mentioning as they are already in place.

My intention is to motivate your personal thoughts, perhaps even inspire you to consider working in public service, to clarify what is truly important to you in regards to running our great nation. It does impact you on every level on a regular basis. The more you are aware and involved the better America will be.

I realize the system is broken in many places, however it is what is. We need to work with what we have available at this moment. Vote. It’s important to keep your voice in the picture.

May you live in peace, prosperity and in joy.

Cosmic sunshine to you.

‘The Stagnation of Conscious Awareness; How to Bridge the Gap of Negativity’

Funny how the lines between facts and opinions have become so clouded in the consciousness of many people today. It truly feels as if brains are actually foggy and not able to really focus on what is real, truthful and factual. Consciousness is on hold, if you will, and the awakening we are striving for is stuck in process. The impact of the astronomical alignment, where earth resides in the heavens, is altering brainwaves – literally. And it’s global.

People are outwardly aggressive, angry, mean-spirited, and plain nasty. Ignorance shares center stage with lack of awareness of what is truly going on behind the scenes. Couple this with lack of education concerning  historical economic, political, religious, and social patterns, combined with a complete disconnect with our emotional bodies and we have anarchy and war. Currently how many wars are taking place as an outward expression of our lost spiritual awareness?

I’ve personally  experienced this unkind behavior and have seen it dished out on multiple others. It is coming from those who are seeking outside themselves for answers and saviors to fix their problems. In reality, once again, it’s the old blame-game.When alternative solutions  render their beliefs inaccurate viperous behavior ensues. It’s an interesting account to watch, observe and process.  The underlying issue is the lack of personal responsibility added to emotional experiences rendering them hopeless and helpless, combined with  lack of parental, and social love. People only attack others when they feel threatened and/or feel inadequate inside. Basically it all comes back to a lack of love. Self love to global love – it’s pandemic. This is where we as a planet are on hold. Century old patterns are front-and-center,  threatening and menacing yet comfortable, as individuals know what to expect.  The behavior is polarizing, stopping growth and expansion. This attitude is evident throughout the states spreading around the globe as ridicule, dissent, callousness-leaning-to-hatred becomes the norm. Just watch CNN, Fox and regular news media to see the daily stories.

I’ll offer an example. My favorite brother-in-law took the time to write a letter to his local paper referencing an article/letter published about political issues. He stated facts and figures which nicely put an alternate view on the story. It’s his right to do so, however the writer disagreed. Instead of handling the situation with kindness, the writer reacted with avarice and disdain. He tracked down my brother-in-law’s phone number, called, harassed and harangued  my sister-in-law for nearly thirty minutes. She is one of the nicest women you will ever meet, a negotiator, a leveler, the calm in a storm. What motivated this man to be so discourteous, so dissident and vile? Where in here did he believe his behavior was warranted?  What makes him right? This is the breakdown I am referencing. I can offer countless other tales of this destruction.

So how do we fix this? Where or what is the bridge across the abyss of contempt, intolerance, prejudice, scorn and haughtiness? It seems almost too big a chasm to breach if seen through the old lens of tyranny, control, dominance and closed-mindedness. I believe this is what 2012 is truly about-letting the old inadequacies within ourselves rise to the surface, addressing the sadness, disappointments, remorse and regrets. This is the only path to transformation. And right now this is front and center.Perrine Bridge, Idaho Falls, Snake River

Forgiveness is the first step. Add in thinking and responding from our heart and we might have a chance – a possible departure from the negative – into a new world view. However, it’s this new frequency of heart-centered-thinking which is the scariest. It makes one vulnerable, responsible, ever-vigilant and centered in the present tense. It takes courage to find the strength and connection between our heads and hearts, to feel and be moved to tears, to share openly and honestly, to listen to others with respect and kindness, to follow our intuitive guidance of the highest order within ourselves. This is where the break-down is occurring – this connection within ourselves supporting  self-love and nurturing, which in turn emanates outward to global love. It’s as if an electrical switch has been turned off within our subconscious disconnecting the frequencies of truth, goodness and light.

These negative emotions spilling into our consciousness intensely impact our physical bodies and our health. Pride, prejudice and intolerance impact our lungs, shortening our breathing, deleting years from possible longevity. Regrets and remorse add stress to our adrenal glands, creating short, curt and negative reactions, making our bodies even more unbalanced hormonally, our health going down the drain. It is time for a change and that time is now!

The steps are short but strenuous to achieve a new balanced, respectful and loving society. The first and most vital step begins, of course, with us.

1. Stand in the Light of goodness connecting you to your highest ideal.

2. Walk daily in your truth, stand in loving balance within.

3. Speak from your heart center, sharing love with everyone, even and most importantly when you disagree.

4. Remember the bridge, always maintaining your ‘space’ on the side of truth, love, forgiveness and justice.

5. Others will want to cross the chasm when your light helps shine the way.

6. Remember to be humble and tolerant. These emotions have the power to transform even the most negative of outcomes. Gandhi is our best guide,  mentor and hero.

This negative breakdown and emotional electrical ‘shorting-out’ is happening on a global level so we as human-kind can recognize ‘what works’ and ‘what doesn’t.’ It is a definite frequency wave of the planetary alignment wild tides. It is our call to reach and strive for kindness in all guises. This is our assignment; it is our mission.

May you find your internal kindness and share the light with all you encounter.

Cosmic sunshine to you.

‘On the Right Path of Transformation’

Focusing on what is important in life is truly what makes life special, enjoyable and all the easier to manage. It is so damn easy to become distracted by rhetoric, bull shit and otherwise negative emotional campaigns in our personal relationships, work environment and mirrored in our political electoral process. I am as guilty as the next being pulled into the maelstrom of recklessly fickle and completely lop-sided attacks from anything from issues with my step-daughter to listening to recycled and overly staged media hyperbole.  It drives me nuts sometimes.  To change it I feel awareness is the key.

In truth we as humans love drama. I realize most will dispute this and yet have you found many who actually live this dream of little or no drama? I didn’t think so. Finding the balance in the midst and mists of illusion is what hopefully we’re all striving for – the balance of having excitement in our lives verses the more reoccurring negatively adverse emotional sagas.

It comes back to focus. Our thoughts escape and trail off into the non-productive ethers of the past, taking the emotional brain into possible depressive thoughts and/or into a probable future, moving our fears into anxiety. When we bring it back to today – the present – it creates the balance we need to improve our lives. It also provides the space to be uplifting, generous, kind, funny and loving. What a deal!!!

As we walk this path of immensely incredible transformation, the more we stay in balance, focus on what is most desirable, (including an evolved political team in Washington D.C. on either side of fence) we can actually create in physical form vitality and strength , in our relationships with our self and others emotional stability and happiness,  and power to manage stress as our good mental clarity daily improves. Visualize balancing your life in the middle of the teeter totter, dancing between the sides staying in the center. As you do this your physical, mental and emotional bodies become more in alignment with the path you desire to live daily. And besides it can be fun especially when you don’t bottom out and hit the ground, spiraling into old patterns. Aspiring to higher levels of focus will keep your mojo flowing and the happiness quotient high.

Cosmic sunshine to you.
